How did you spend your day?

My day started out normal yesterday. I got the kids some cereal, went to check my email and then got the vacuum out to vacuum. We had gotten a package in the mail the day before and it was filled with packaging peanuts that need to be cleaned up. When I got the vacuum out Cade said, "I put one of those peanuts in my nose, and it's still there." I started to laugh and went about vacuuming. In my head I was thinking why would you do that, there can't be a peanut up your nose. I decided I had better look just to make sure. When I looked there was a peanut up his nose. We quickly got dressed headed up to now care where Cade openly told the doctor I put a peanut up my nose. I won't do it again because it wasn't a very good idea. He held very still while the doctor inserted a special pair of tweezers. Cade thought it tickled but did a good job. Needless to say we have been talking a lot about not putting things in our noses. Some days I think my day would be so much more interesting if I had a job that I went to. Today was not one of those days!

Oh my! That is kind of scary. I am glad he is okay. Maybe you had better invest in a pair of those tweezers. It may be cheaper than a co-pay. :)

When Jenna was about 7 she put a little pink puff ball up her nose, we still laugh about it to this day. I'm glad that everything is okay with his nose. You now have a fun thing to remember forever!

I am glad you found it before it got rotten. That could have been interesting. I am glad he told you and glad he realizes it was wrong. He is so cute!

I have a story about that were I actually put it up the child's nose...and I was like 17. At least he is little and can get away with stuff like that.

Oh my! That reminds me of the movie "One Fine Day" (one of my favorite movies) when the little boy puts a marble up his nose and they have to go to the doctors office. That's kind of scary. I'm glad everything worked out.
