Labor Day

After feeling like I was in labor for a week with my little Kiptyn I was so ready to be induced. My doctor was out of town the week before and promised me he would start me as soon as he got home. He came and broke my water at 8:00 that morning. While he was there he asked Clint what time we were having this baby. Clint told him that we would have the baby at 1:15. At around 11:00 I got my epidural. It felt so good not to be having contractions that I fell asleep. Clint was in the room with me and he also fell asleep. While I was sleeping my contractions stopped but I didn't care because I was so tired. Then my Mom came in and started asking me why the contractions had stopped. At this point I was really tired so I just said I don't know and went back to sleep. My Mom was a little worried so she went and got the nurse. The nurse came in and checked me and said don't move this baby is almost here. She ran to call the doctor and he rushed over to the hospital. He got to the hospital at about 1:14 and at 1:16 our little guy was born. He was my littlest baby so he looked so tiny. The boys came to the hospital and got to see his first bath. Austin thought it was funny that he wasn't wearing any cloths. They both fell in love with him the instant they saw him. The are being really big helpers and love to hold and kiss their brother. So much so that I never get to hold him.
