Sleepless in Seattle

After spending a few days at the ocean we headed to Seattle. We stayed at a RV park a few miles from the city so that we could ride the train into town.

Our first stop in Seattle was the Space Needle. Austin was really excited to go there and he kept calling it the Space Noodle. Kiptyn wasn't sleepless in Seattle. He slept the whole time we were there.

Why is it that boys love to climb so much. The highlight of our trip to the Space Needle was climbing on the big balls in front of the Needle.

While we were at the top of the Space Needle Angie saw a thing about "The Gum Wall" she is really into touristy places so we added it to our list of places to visit. Austin was so funny about the gum wall. He didn't want to go. He was totally grossed out by all of the gum stuck on the walls. He put his gum on a wall all by itself so that he didn't have to touch any other gum. We even had to bribe him to smile. I must admit it was pretty gross but it ended up being a really fun thing to do.
Cade's dream is to become a street performer. We dream big at our house. What could be cooler than hanging out on the street posing with people for money!
Next stop eating our way through the market. I think we spent about fifty dollars at the German pastry shop. It was so yummy! Austin must have been a turkey that day because he was scared of the fish at the market too. Cade on the other hand thought it was cool when his Dad caught the flying fish. (Yes we are the dorky family dressed alike, but I didn't lose any of my boys not even Clint.)

Last but not least we took a trip on the Duck. The Duck is a bus tour and a boat tour. The bus turns into a boat for part of the tour. Not only did we get to see Seattle by land but by sea. We also got some duck whistles that I tried to lose on the tour but Grandma and Grandpa were so nice to by us extra ones. That way we would have the really loud whistles even when we got home. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!!!
