King Kona

Austin turned five on July 1st so we had a big birthday bash at our house.  We had a water fight and then I hired a snow cone truck to come to our house.  They played music, brought birthday leis and Austin even got to make the snow cones and hand them out to his friends.  The kids loved it because they got to put on their own syrup.  I think some kids had a cup full of just syrup by the end of the party. Before they left they gave Austin a birthday present with a bag full of stuff and a Kona Ice T-Shirt.  It was a really fun and easy party because I didn't have to do anything.  Austin is so much fun to have around our house.  He is really funny and can make us all laugh.  He is a good brother and will entertain Kip for hours.  He also loves to hold Jersey and is so gentle with her.  He loves it when she smiles at him.  Since his birthday is in July I have decided to keep him in pre-school one more year.  I don't want  him to be the youngest in his class and I don't want just one year of school in between he and Cade.  I am glad he will be home for another year with me.
