First Halloween Bash

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays mostly because there are so many fun things to do all month.  Angie had an awesome Halloween party this year that we had to all dress up for.  All the boys were Avengers, Jersey was Rapunzel from Tangled and I was her evil Mom.  We  started the night out with pictures and all of the boys wanted their own picture with Jersey.

Angie and Jake invited my parents to the party and they were watching Scott and Circe's kids so they got to come too.  Grandma and Grandpa went all out with their costumes.  My Dad even got the second most votes for best costume.

Jared and Kimie one best costume
Jersey wasn't so sure about Grandma's witch costume
 Or my long black hair!
Jake and Angie's family dressed as Scooby Doo

I loved Lily's cute pig costume
Angie planned a bunch of games to play where you had to have a partner.  Austin and I were partners for the games and we were pretty good at Lovers Leap.  Austin was determined to win and we did.  For anyone that went to high school with me do you recognize my dress?  I knew my high school choir dress would come in handy some day.
Cade picked Grandma to be his partner and they almost beat us in Lovers Leap.

My Mom and I were in charge of the caramel apple bar and it turned out yummy.  We dipped the apples in caramel and then brought lots of treats to put on them as well as white and milk chocolate.

Angie went to so much work to make the party fun.  We had soup in pumpkin bread bowls, mummy hot dogs, chips and guacamole, cupcakes, cookies and tons of treats.
Kiptyn put these glasses on and thought no one would know who he was.
Jersey loved the party and took a little cat nap then she woke up and partied late into the night with the rest of the group.
All month Angie kept telling us we were having a stomp and her party and we kept making fun of her.  It turned out really fun to have a dance and my Dad was quite the dancer.  I think Angie was impressed with his dance moves.
Austin takes dancing pretty serious.  He is taking a hip hop class at Jean's dance studio and he loves it.  While Cade goes to school he watches Activity TV on the computer and practices break dancing.  It is so funny to watch him he gets really into it.  He has gotten pretty good.
The Party Planner and Jared being crazy in the background.
I think the party was a success because when we left at 11:00 that night Cade started crying because it wasn't long enough.
We can't wait for next year!

So glad my kids were lucky enough to come! Your family is the most fun of anyone I know!
