Thanksgiving Pie Contest

This year we were going to my Mom's house for Thanksgiving so we wanted to do something fun with Clint's family.  We invited them over for a pie baking contest.  Everyone brought some yummy pies and then we tested them and voted on the best pie for taste and looks.  Jean's Raspberry pies won for taste and my Mom's won for best looking pie.  Then we let the kids vote on their favorite, they all chose Clint's Reese Peanut butter pie.  It was really fun so I think we will make it a new family tradition.  Clint is already thinking up recipes for next year.
I thought my banana toffee pie would win for sure but I had some tough competition.  Jenny brought apple pie, Hyrum brought pecan pie, Jake made an awesome Cherries Jubilee pie,  My Mom brought banana blueberry and Angie brought a retro peanut butter pie.
These two couldn't wait to try all of the pies.

While we ate pie Lucy and Kip played like they were the Hulk.  Lucy looked so cute with giant hulk hands.

Part of the competition was you had to come up with a funny name for your pie.  We had some pretty creative names that would only be funny if you were there.  Everyone decide that my name was pretty funny so at least I won for best named pie.
