Cookie College

We were in need of some fun this week after a long January filled with snow, cold and fevers.  Cade had a "mental health day" meaning he got to stay home and have fun with us all day.  I have been wanting to go to Garner Village for months. So we headed to their bakery to become cookie experts at cookie college.  I called Grandma and Grandpa to come and they joined in on our fun.  Every morning Kiptyn begs me to get him dressed so that he can be ready just in case I will let him go to school with Cade.  He wants to be big like his brothers so he was so excited that he got to go to "cookie school."

This was before we were covered in flour, sugar and frosting.
Jersey has been sick all month and she is finally feeling better.  Every morning when I go get her she starts waving bye bye because she wants to go somewhere.  This morning she waved bye bye and even said it.

All of the kids got a name tag so their "professor" could remember their name.
We got to go on a tour of the bakery and for some reason Kiptyn was really scared.  Austin held his hand while we went on the tour.
While we were on the tour they gave each of the kids their own cookie dough and a rolling pin so they could roll out their cookies.  Then while they were cooking the cookies the kids got to order their lunch and eat.
Then the fun part of cookie making started, decorating.  They got tons of frosting, sprinkles and candy.

Cade made me a special cookie that said, "My Boy."

Jersey got to try her first Cheetos so she had a good time.
Even Grandpa got in on the decorating.

When we were all done the kids even got diplomas.  We are all now cookie experts.
