Pie Party

A few weeks before Thanksgiving we had our Annual Pie Party. First we started out the night with appetizers and Italian Sodas. 

   Before eating our pie I bought plates and we all decorated the plates so that each year we could have a special plate to eat on.  The kids loved making their plates. We had some pretty creative plates. 

 

 Before we dig into the pie we all try to come up with a funny name for our pie.  So a lot of the pies have funny names with inside jokes.  Clint named his pie our pie party is better than your Halloween party pie.  He was trying to tease Angie but we all know her Halloween party can't be beat.  Then it was time for the pie tasting.  We gave out awards for the best tasting pie, kids choice and the best looking pie.  Michelle won the contest for both best tasting and best looking.  Angie and I tied for second place and my Dad won the kids choice award.  It was a great way to get ready for Thanksgiving.   

Clint decided to make up his own recipe this year.  Lets just say next year he will be using a recipe.
