After the tournament we had a big surprise for the boys. We were going on a cruise. We had the car all packed and ready to go. They were so excited. We had to drive quickly because we were leaving from California the next morning. We drove to Las Vegas and got there really late that night and then drove the rest of the way the next morning. Our first stop was Catalina Island. We rented golf carts and drove around the island and then spent the rest of the day at the beach.

The next day we had a sea day. So we sat at the pool while the kids went up and down the water slide all day. We also ordered a lot of pina coladas in between our ice cream and pizza runs. The kids were pretty excited that there was a 24 hour ice cream machine.
Our 2nd stop was Ensenada Mexico, it isn't my favorite place but the kids thought it was cool to be in another country. We booked a tour with the cruise ship to go to a resort and hang out there for the day. The resort was fun and they had a free Mexican buffet.
One of my favorite parts of a cruise is the food. The kids came with us to the fancy dinners a couple of the nights and then they chose to go to the kids club on the other nights. The kids club would feed them dinner and then they would play games and watch movies in the club.
After the cruise was over we had a few days before we had to be back to start school. So we stayed in Long beach for the weekend. I made Clint take a picture of Jersey asleep in my arms because it would probably be the last time I would have one of my babies asleep on my lap at the beach. I can't believe we are almost out of the baby stage. It makes me happy and really sad at the same time. Right after this picture Clint headed to the dollar store to stock up on cookies and snacks. I was sitting at the beach thinking I really have this Mom thing down. Five minutes later I watched as a coast guard pulled two boys out of the water that that had nearly drowned. Then it dawned on me I hadn't seen Cade and Austin for a few minutes. I began running up and down the beach with Jersey asleep in my arms when the life guard brought the boys to me. It was so scary. I really hate to think about it, I am so glad I made the boys wear their life jackets that day.
After Clint got back and I recovered from almost letting my kids drown in the ocean. I went shopping and got Jersey this cute suit. Having a girl is so much fun. We loved soaking up our last bit of sun before we had to get back to real life.
