Max and Cade having a bottle
December is such a fun month because it seems like you get to see the people you love more often. We had such a fun weekend with our family. On Friday night my sister in law planned a couples night out. We put the kids to bed and had a babysitter come and stay with them for a few hours. This was a much needed brake for me. Austin is such a sweet baby but he will not take a bottle which means we have pretty much been attached for the past 5 1/2 months. This was only the second time I have left him since he was born. At my brother and sister in laws we had fondue and played a fun gift passing game. We had so much fun being able to talk to each other and really catch up. The food was yummy, it was just as good as the Melting Pot. Saturday we spent the day finishing our railing to our upstairs. We have lived in our house for a year now but we still have projects we need to finish. It seems like there is always something funner to do than to finish our projects. Later that day we went to lunch with Clint's family. Cold December nights make us want to plan a hot tub party so we invited Clint's sister and brother in law over. The water was perfect and we got to enjoy our view of the pond in the back yard. We are the best parent's ever and forgot to feed Cade dinner. So after getting in the hot tub we went to Baskin and Robin's for ice cream. Cade thought that this was a great idea and should repeated everyday! On Sunday when we asked him what he wanted for breakfast he of course said ice cream. Sunday we "sluffed" church and got to stay home and watch Max. We love this little guy it was so much fun to have him come and stay at our house. We had fun making cookies and chasing Max as he dove off of the top of our stairs. Cade's favorite part of Max's visit was pretending he was a baby and having a bottle with Max. I think he felt a little jealous when Max was sitting on Clint's lap. We can't wait until he comes to play again. Later that night we had dinner at my Mom's house. We love when we get to spend so much time with family. It was a perfect weekend!

We loved your Christmas card! those pictures were so cute! We can't wait to see you guys again. Scott can't wait to see Austin's little smile!
Finally an update! We love to hear the day to day stuff! I keep having a heart attack when I look at the pictures because it looks to me like Austin is ready to fall over backwards off the cupboard! I am sure he isn't, but it sure does trick you eyes!
