Happy Birthday Clint

My wonderful husband celebrated his birthday this week so we headed to Salt Lake for the weekend. My sister works at the Marriott and they were running this killer deal for hotel rooms. We stayed at the Marriott near the mouth of Cottonwood Canyon. It was an absolutely beautiful weekend. It brought back so many memories of being in high school and spending every weekend at Brighton Ski resort. We would drive up in Clint's old Bronco for the day. I remember my first time snowboarding. I was terrified to get off the ski lift Clint told me not to worry he would make sure that I didn't fall. When we got to the top of the bunny lift I was so nervous to get off that Clint just picked me up and off we went. Needless to say I have never learned how to get off a ski lift. Clint still just picks me up and makes sure I don't fall. That is why I love him so much he is my rock and picks me up on days that I think I am going to fall. We did some of our favorite things we used to do when we didn't have the kids. We went to our favorite restaurant Market Street, 2 movies and I even roped him into seeing The Nutcracker. He was only willing to see the Nutcracker because my niece was in it. We had so much fun reconnecting and spending time together. Thank you for taking our kids Lisa and Jenny you guys are the best!!!
