Like everyone else we have been decking the halls all week. My father in law called and told me I was slacking on the blog so I guess my blog needs some decking the halls too. We had a great Thanksgiving week which started out at Clint's grandparents house in Logan. Clint's Dad made a fabulous dinner of crab chowder and swordfish with avocado butter. It was as good as it sounds. His crab chowder is my all time favorite soup. Sunday we spent the day at Clint's Mom's house. I got to hold our newest nephew he is adorable. (Let me just say baby hungry!) We had a yummy traditional Thanksgiving meal. On Thanksgiving day we went to my Mom's house. Although a lot of people are on diets in my family the food did not disappoint. Everyone brought their favorite desert or pie. We had quite the assortment including Paula Deans Turtle Trifle, Raspberry Oreo Truffle Pie, Eggnog Pie, Pumpkin Crunch Cake, Banana Blueberry Pie and Oreo Pie. These are just a few of the desserts. I have been doing some major crunches to make up for the calorie feast. As if the deserts could be out done my brother and sister in law had some great news. They are expecting a baby!!! We are so excited for them. They are great parents and some of the most giving people I know. We ended the day making advent calenders for the kids and playing a fun Thanksgiving game. This year more than any other year I am thankful for family, food and a warm place to live. I am grateful for the opportunities we have in this country to provide for our families. I am grateful for Clint who is a wonderful provider for our family. I am grateful for two healthy and mostly happy boys. I truly feel blessed.

Looks, fun, busy, and delicious. That is quite the variety of pies! Sounds fun! Hope all is well with your family! That picture is VERY cute!
I still regret eating so much pie! We will have to hit aerobics together!
We are thankful for you, too. Especially Austin, who kept Scott going while he was waiting for his own baby! :)
Hello strangers! Your family is beautiful-- it was great to see all the pictures! Hope you are both doing well.

Cute background! I can't believe we both changed to the same thing.
Sounds like a great Thanksgiving. I started salivating a little when reading about the pies:) Thanks for letting us watch Cade and Austin. They were great.
