Austin's B-Day Continues

Austin's B-Day was packed with all the fun we could handle. We started the day out with a shopping trip to Walmart to pick out his present. He chose a big Batman Castle with cool guys to play with and he loves it.

Then we made a stop at Sugar Daisey Bakery for a Birthday Cupcake. He choose chocolate carmel and it was yummy!

My brother told me about a great deal at Boondocks where you get an all day pass for free when it is your birthday so we decided to check it out. It was great so much better than Chucky Cheese!!! The boys both played mini golf, bumper boats, arcade games and climbed around the kids jungle gym for hours. The bumper boats kind of gave me a heart attack but the boys loved them. Cade was just tall enough to drive the boats and be considered a "responsible" partner for Austin. When they got in them there were no seat belts and Cade had to be able to drive the boat all alone. I asked the guy that was running them how deep the water was and he said only 5 feet. Which is only 2 feet taller than my boys. Luckily no one fell in and we didn't have to save anyone. While we were watching the boys my Mom and Dad were watching little Kip. He spent the afternoon sleeping in their arms.

Grandma and Grandpa Taylor wanted in on the Birthday action so they took us all out to lunch at one of our new favorite restaurants. It is call Mo Bettas or something like that. It is a Hawian restaurant and the kids love it because you can get shaved ice. On the way home from the restaurant we stopped and let Austin spend some of his birthday money. He got a Harry Potter game for his DS and some Toy Story Toys.

For his last birthday celebration we had a birthday party at the splash pad in South Odgen. He told me he wanted a ball cake so we came up with this cake. I loved how it turned out. It was one of the easiest and funnest parties I have done. Happy Birthday Austin we love you!
