We started our Easter celebrations early this year with a party at Jake and Angie's house. Doug came and brought all of the kids Easter baskets. It was so much fun.
One of our favorite traditions is the Easter egg hunt in the dark at Jer and Jen's house. It wasn't nearly as cold as last year so that was nice.
Saturday morning we went to breakfast with my family and then to another Easter egg hunt at Jake and Angie's house. We even got to meet Pippa she is darling.
Easter morning the boys were excited to see their Easter baskets so we got up really early so we could make it to 9:00 church. I have always loved 9:00 church but lately Jersey has been sleeping until 9:00 every morning so I think 11:00 church will work out much better next year. I won't complain I haven't ever had a baby that sleeps past 7:00 so I am loving finally getting to sleep in. I told my kids they could eat whatever they wanted because we weren't going to have time to eat breakfast. Cade started crying because he was starving. What kind of kids cry when their parents tell them they can have chocolate eggs and peeps for breakfast? We made it through Sacrament and then Clint had to take them all home for some breakfast. I now get why the Easter bunny brought us little boxes of cereal in our Easter basket. We will have to start that tradition next year.
The Easter bunny hid eggs and tiny jelly beans all over the house.
I love how kids look in the morning with their crazy hair and pajamas.
Our kids are really into Lego's right now so the Easter bunny brought teenage mutant ninja turtle Lego's.
I love these cute kiddos I just wish they would all look at me when I take their pictures.
After church we went to my Mom's house for dinner. Most of my family was out of town for spring break so we invited Clint family to come have dinner with us. We had a nice turkey dinner and then we had a little Easter egg hunt in the back yard. Angie made these cute little chick cheese balls |

My Mom made homemade marshmallow, peanut butter and divinity eggs for dessert. They were so yummy. |
