Jersey's 1st Birthday Party

 I can't believe how fast a year can fly by when you have a baby.  They change so much in that first year.  For Jersey's birthday we had a picnic at our house. I had paper sacks for everyone to pack their own little lunch.  And then for desert we had a trifle bar where everyone made their own trifle in mason jars. 

Jersey was so happy the day of her party I think she knew it was her big day.  She opened each gift and wanted to play with present.  It was fun to have all of our family there to celebrate her big day.

I always love making my babies their first birthday cake.  My Mom will usually come and help me so it is fun day spent together baking.  I wanted her to have a fun garden and fairy birthday cake. We made little cupcakes that looked like flower pots. 

We were going to give her the whole cake but it was pretty big so we just gave her a cupcake. 

She mostly just looked at the cupcake instead of eating it.
