July 24th

The 24th of July was really fun this year.  We started the morning off with giant pancakes and scones at our favorite breakfast place Granny Annies.    Then to work off our calories we went to Doug's girlfriends house for a pool party.  The kids may have worked off some of their calories with a crazy diving contest.  But the adults just lounged about and ate more food.  Food is what usually makes up a good holiday right!

After we ate and swam we headed to our house for the best firework show I have ever seen.  Angie and Jake bought all of the fireworks and Angie has always been scared of fireworks so it was more of a smoke fest.  They bought every firework that smoked it was awesome.  We kept teasing them about how great it was but in all honesty it was pretty fun.  Jersey loved all of the fireworks she wasn't scared at all.  Lucy who is always the bravest of the little girls did not like them at all.  She must take after her Mom.
