Mesquite Reunion 2013

It is a bad idea to blog about summer when it is cold.  It is making me miss the lazy days of summer and winter hasn't even begun.  Summer holds some of my favorite memories with these cute kids.  I love a good road trip with all of our family.  Jersey got a new car seat  to go on our big trip.  She isn't quite 20 pounds but she was getting to tall for her other car seat so we decided to switch to her big girl seat.  She was pretty excited to see what was going on in the front of the car.  She also became a lot more demanding because she wanted me to look at her the whole trip and talk about how cute she was in her seat.
We spent our first night in St. George and hit up the splash pad and Swigs for Dirty Diet Cokes and Sugar Cookies.  Clint got a mango Mt. Dew and it was pretty good.

The next day we went to Mesquite for the family reunion.  The reunion consisted of all of Clint's family and his aunt Ann from California.  So there wasn't a lot of his family there but we still had a lot of fun.  We did the usual hung out by the pool, went to the arcade, movie and ate our traditional Monday night buffet.
These three are the cutest little friends

The best part of the reunion is the water slide!

The kids played video games while the adults played card games.

More slide fun

Cute Kip and Grandma

Lucy loved the slide so Jake and Angie paid the boys a quarter for every time they took her down the slide.  I think my kids made $10 that day.

Sipping pina coladas by the pool.

Cutest kids ever.  Jersey was really excited about getting her picture taken.

My kids love to eat at buffets they like to get their own food and Austin may have eaten 4 ice cream cones.

Ty and Kip warming up on the concrete.  I am not sure why they were cold because it was 110 degrees outside.

Another successful reunion!
