So this isn't an award that I would like to receive but I think we win the award for the most Goldfish dieing in one summer. We have literally gone through 50 goldfish. Cade was so excited when we got him a fish tank for his birthday last year. Since his birthday we have been to Walmart to buy fish 3 times. Each time we buy him about 25 fish then each day we try to hurry and remove the dead fish before Cade sees them. Then a week later we have no fish. So if anyone knows what we are doing wrong please let me know. It is hard to explain dieing fish to a 2 year old. Cade best summed it up when he said, "can you please recharge my batteries so that my fish will work again." I guess we will stick with dogs as pets.

Grandma and Grandpa kidnapped Cade last night to help them do yard work. He loves to sit on the lawn mower with Grandpa. After being in the hot sun he was ready for a water fight. They brought him back home in Grandpa's shirt. I think Grandpa is try to make it clear that Cade will be a Utah fan.

I would say don't buy so many at one time. :) Your tank can only handle 2 maybe 3 goldfish. Goldfish are really dirty fish so the water can only support a couple. Also are you using drops to take out the chlorine? They can't survive in straight tap water.
Our fish seem to last WAY longer than Kevin wishes they would. :)
I don't have any goldfish advice for you. All of my animals in the past have seemed to died. I don't know what I do wrong! I'm just hoping I'll be able to keep my yard alive when we get that in! Good Luck!
Good luck with Amber's fish advice. Cade looks adorable in the Utah shirt. It's the same one Free wears to bed. Sometimes I wish somebody would kidnap our kids! Lucky! :)
Goldfish??? Huh, I am anti-pet so can't help you there! Utah fan! Yes, we like that! I love that Cade is Grandpa's special lawn mowing buddy. Jeremy has a few of those around here. It makes the task much more fun!
Sorry, no goldfish advice here. I love that Cade's school choice is being influenced at such a young age! Go Utes! :)
Ok, this is really cute. You give me good ideas. Maybe I will avoid goldfish for awhile.
