WHY???

Cade has hit the age where he asks why to everything. So I was just wondering if any of you had the answers to any of these questions.

Why do we poop?

Why do have to go to church?

Why do Mommy's and Daddy's like to Sleep?

Why do Mommy's have babies in there tummies?

Why can't I have peanut butter for breakfast, lunch and dinner?

Why can't I sleep in your bed?

Why does Shady (our dog) poop?

Why do I have to go to the potty on my new potty chair when it is so much easier to do it in my diaper?

And my favorite why question is why would you give Austin brownie batter when it makes such a big mess?

Unfortunately it takes a lot of years to grow out of the "why" stage. I tried to give Jake some big biological answer to "why do I poop" and he pretty much summarized with: when I drink I pee, and when I eat chocolate I have to poop? Um, yeah close enough.

How scary it is that he eats enough chocolate to still think that is why he poops?

I always say, "Good question! Why do YOU think?" Free's new thing is asking why a certain word is that word. Why is traffic called traffic? A lot of times, my answer is "Uhhhhhhhhhhhh...huh?" So you're potty training? good luck!

I hate to break it to ya, but I don't think it ever stops. Alexis still asks me why questions. Even though her questions are more developed and appropriate it can still be irritating. And... as for the brownie batter. I think that is a good option for anyone, anytime. Yum!

Ahhhh! how funny I guess it must be an age thing. I love the poop question I haven't gotten that one yet. But their have been a few I had to stop myself from laughing at.

I swear Ryker and Cade are twins. It's a little weird how similar they are. Ryker asks me "WHY" about a hundred times a day too. It's starting to drive me crazy. I'll glad I'm not alone.

Oh Nikki, don't you just love this age. Sam is my shadow and asks me the same questions over and over! So fun.

I don't know how to handle those questions either! Good thing I have a few more years before I need to be clever...hopefully you will know the answers by then and can give me some tips!

p.s. Cute Blog!
