Today is Cade's Birthday!!! I can't believe that he is already three. I remember the day he was born looking at my tiny little baby and thinking how little he was. He is growing up so fast and quickly. I was thinking today what I wish I would have known about having a three year old.
1. On the day he was born I wish I would have known that three years would go by so quickly.
2. On the day he was born I wish I would have known that by three he would think he was totally independent of me. He thinks he can do everything himself.
3. On the day he was born I wish I would have known that by three I would have had some of the best days as a mom, the worst days, the longest days, the shortest days, the most exciting days and some of the saddest days.
4. On the day he was born I wish I would have worried about all the rules less and just enjoyed the little moments. I was so worried I was doing something wrong.
5. On the day he was born I wish I would have held him more and Cherish the time to rock with him because now he thinks he is to big to be cuddled.
6. On the day he was born I wish I would have known how much I would love him and learn from him.
7. On the day he was born I wish I would have know that three year olds have multiple personalities. They can be completely sweet and completely sour!
8. On the day he was born I wish he would have come with an instruction manual of how to fix everything. So far a kisses and a hugs have work but there will come a day when that won't cut it.
9. On the day he was born I didn't know how grateful I would be for every birthday I would get to share with him.
10. On the day he was born I didn't know that not only would I be raising a three year old but also a superhero.
We love our little guy and hope that he stays as sweet as he is. He has blessed our lives in so many ways. Happy birthday Cade!!!

I loved this post. It made me cry. They do grow way too quickly. Thanks for reminding me to slow down and enjoy all the little moments I get with my 2 year old. Happy birthday to your little guy!
I love it! Thanks for helping me remember that getting no sleep is really not that big of a deal in the long run...hopefully when she's three I won't even remember. What a handsome birthday boy!
