1. Make your husband feel guilty that before you were married you got to go on the annual "boy" fishing trip with your Dad and your brothers.

2. He will then plan a fishing trip for just you and your Mom and Dad.
3. Drop the kids off for the weekend at your mother-in-laws. You know they will have so much fun so you won't need to worry about them. (Thanks Jean)
4. Decide everything you want to do for the weekend. You get to pick out where to eat, what to do and your husband will do whatever because he knows that if he is nice I might plan something fun for his birthday.
5. Invite some of your best friends to come. (My Mom and Dad.)
6. Although you invite your Dad you have ulterior motives. Since you are going on a fishing trip you need a fish catty. A fish catty is someone who puts your pole together, puts your worm on your hook, takes the fish off when you catch one and cleans the fish. Then you send the fish home with him and he prepare a fabulous lemon pepper trout dinner for you to eat the next week.
7. Know right where you want to fish.
8. Be the only one that catches a 4lb rainbow trout. The biggest fish you have ever caught.

9. Eat lots of chocolate, cake, cookies and candy because calories don't count on your Birthday.
10. Repeat every year!!!

How fun and how lucky! I'm glad you got a fish. Usually, when I go, all I catch are snags. :)
I'm probably the worst friend in the whole world! You are like my only friend, and I can't even keep track of your birthday! I hate myself right now. To make it up to you, let me take you to lunch. When? You tell me and I will work it out. Happy late birthday! Sorry you have such a lousy friend.
I am so glad you had a good birthday! 26 isn't that old!
HaPPy BirTHdaY!! I'm glad you had so much fun.
Happy (late) Birthday! I'm glad you had a fun time fishing. That fish you caught was huge. Please let me babysit sometime soon. I really need to make it up to you.
