Kayla's Baptism

 

 Jeremy and Jenny moved to Arizona this past summer so my boys have been wanting to go and see where they lived.  Kayla was getting baptized over UEA weekend and we had a trip planned to California so we decided to head to Arizona before our trip to California.  It was a little out of the way but the kids had fun seeing their cousins.  Clint was swamped with work so he decided to stay home with Jersey and fly to California a few days after we left.  So we packed our car with Aunt Michelle, Jake and Ari.  Ari was missing her cousins so we brought her along too.  Michelle started the vacation by giving all of the kids a bag filled with fun things to do.  They all loved them and they kept them busy while we drove in the car.

We stopped in Las Vegas the first night and stayed there so the kids could have a little break from the car.  We had breakfast at a little 50's dinner in the Stratosphere. 

This picture makes me laugh because before Austin turned his menu around he was coloring a pin up girl.    

 After breakfast we started the trip to Arizona.  It was the longest drive I have ever driven.  Luckily Michelle and I kept ourselves pretty entertain by seeing who cold suck on a sucker the longest.  I lost I am really impatient.  Once we made it there we went to Jer and Jen's house and had dinner.  I also got to meet my friend Kindi for dinner that night.  It was so fun to see her. She has three cute little boys and is pregnant with a little girl. 

 The next morning we went to Kayla's baptism.  She looked so cute in her little tiara.  We were glad we could be there for her big day. 

 Kayla got baptized on Neeley's birthday so after the baptism we went to a birthday party at their clubhouse.  Jenny made some darling cupcakes so while the kids swam we ate cupcakes and talked. 

These two had so much fun together.  Kip said I got to see the real Kate.

Neeley kept these two busy all afternoon competing for the sucker she had.  I was amazed how long they we trying to win the sucker.  Eventually Cade gave up and Jake won.

My Mom and Dad did a little relaxing at the pool while I made post on instagram.  Lets say that they weren't too happy when they woke up.
 

After being at the pool all day we went and got Mexican food and then went back to the hotel to get some sleep.  We had to get up early to meet Clint at the airport the next day.  We had a lot of fun in Arizona but next time we go we will fly it is totally worth the $45 flight ticket.
