Taylor Family Cabin Trips

 We had Clint's family up to my parents cabin a couple of times this year and it was always so much fun.  The first trip we mostly just sat by the fire and ate lots of treats while the kids played on the swing set and built forts in the trees.  We also rode four wheelers and went for a hike up to the spring.

 The kids favorite part of the cabin is having a fire but they also love to grab Dr. Peppers before their Mom's catch them. 

 Don't these two look like trouble they are pretty good little buddies. 

On our second trip we decided to bring the boat and take the kids boating.

Clint and I haven't been to bear lake for a long time so we decided to go there instead of Lake Meade for our boating trip this summer.  The first night we were there we went boating at Oneida. The water was cold but perfectly smooth and we were the only boat on the lake so it was so fun.  Saturday we went to the big Preston Pizza Pig Out and ate tons of pizza before we headed to Bear Lake. 

I was really excited to go to Bear Lake and boat because I hadn't been there since high school.  The water was so pretty I felt like we were in the Caribbean.   The best part of the day for my kids was playing at the beach.  They had so much fun playing in the sand.  It was a really fun get away that I think will become a new family tradition. 

 I love going for long rides while the kids fall asleep.  Even Austin fell asleep while he was  sitting up.

By the time we got to the beach the lake was so choppy it almost felt like you were at the ocean.  It was pretty cold too but the kids didn't seem to care.
