Word Mixup

Sometimes I feel like I am a detective as a Mom. Cade is always mixing up words and I have to really listen to figure out what he is saying. These are some of the funny things he has said this week.

Yesterday I made him a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. When I gave it to him he informed that I had made it wrong. He told be that grandma always takes off the plastic. (the crust)

Last week when we got home from church he immediately told me that we were going to have a penguin day today. I had no idea what he was talking about until he brought me a blanket and said sit down and make me a sandwich.

Today he woke up and said are we going to a hoorad. I asked him what a hoorad was and he said I bring the bag we made at craft camp and people throw me candy while I stand on the road and say hooray.

I love it. It is so fun to watch him learn about the world around him. What a fun age.

That is so fun! I love just watching Beckam change and grow, it's going to be so fun when he starts talking and realizing what is going on around him!

Hoorad... I love it! I'm just glad he can tell you what he is talking about. Izzy will say those words and then freak out when I don't get her what she wants. So fun, but frustrating at the same time. I'm glad you guys are past that stage.

it's so cute (even if it can be frustrating) it made me sad when easton started talking more clearly!

Being a mom is all about playing detective! It's so fun when they know exactly what they're trying to tell you and you have no idea! BTW-I loved Austin's b-day cake...it was so cute!
