My Little Trooper

Out little guy was born with sever acid reflux. He spent the first month of his life throwing up all over me and crying every time I laid him down. He still has problems with the reflux at night. When I lay him down he starts coughing and usually throws up. This means we don't get sleep around our house. Yesterday he started coughing and burning up with a fever. I took him to the doctor and he has croup. The doctor gave us a steroid pill so he should be feeling better soon. Next week we are taking him to see a specialist for his acid reflux. We hope he feels better. Poor little guy!!!

Nikki and Clint. You have complimented Jen and I in the past for our diligence with Jackson. Well... I just have to say how impressed I am with you guys' love, patience and perseverance with everything Austin is going through. I agree with Circe, you guys are BIG troopers too.

I'm so sorry he is sick. It is so hard when little kids are sick cause they can't tell you what is wrong and you don't know what to do for them. Hang it there!!
