Winter Fun

Brrrr man is it cold outside. We are getting a little tired of the cold weather but we are still having fun at our house. Here are some of the things we have been doing. Cade loved building indoor snowmen. We built them with marshmellows, peanut butter and chocolate chips. They were yummy and fun to build. Cade got a really cool train from his Dad the day after Christmas. He loves to sit on his Elmo chair and use his remote control to make the train move. We also got a package from Clint's Dad with fun bath toys. The boys love to have swim days in the tub. The only bad part is trying to get t hem out. Clint and I have stayed busy going to the Flow Rider. I keep forgetting my camera when we go so I don't have any pictures. If you want a fun date night you should go try it. It has become an addiction for Clint. All he wants to do is go there and surf. He is getting pretty good at it. I also have a new addiction that has been keeping me busy. Clint gave me a steam mop as a late Christmas present. I love it! It also came with a steam cleaner. I have spent countless hours steaming everything. My bathroom has never been so clean. I never thought cleaning could be this fun. If anyone is bored like I am this winter you are welcome to borow it. Anyways I would love any ideas on what you are all doing to have fun in this cold weather. We would love some new ideas!

I tried to leave you a message but it didn't work. So you might end up getting two. Anyway...thanks so much for watching the kids today. Xanthe asked me a thousand times where Cade went, so you'll have to bring him over again! I'll watch them next time so you can go do something fun! I think you've already thought of all the fun winter activities. I'm going to try some of them!

I know, winter gets so boring! I think the kids get cabin fever or something. Yeah, it would be fun to get our kids together for a play date!

Those marshmallow snowmen are so cute! As far as ideas of things to do, have you made homemade playdough yet? I saw a post on designmom.com last week (if you don't read her blog, you should, it's great) about making playdough with jello. This is the link to a recipe she gave on her website: http://www.easyfunschool.com/JelloPlaydough.html

That was so fun at classic on Friday. I think we should add that to our list of winter activities. The snowmen are really cute. Nells and LaLa would love to make those. I am sure Cade had a blast!

Austin looks so cute just sitting there on the counter!

I had fun seeing everyone today. I love little Austin. I had fun holding him today. Every time I take the kids to a movie they ask me to tell them about you when you were little and how I would dare you tell yell things in the theater. I remember carrying you on my shoulders at Temple Square when you were little. Can you believe how much has happened since then? Now we are all creating new memories for our kids. I hope they have as great of childhoods as we had.

Thanks for offering to help with Madison. You are so sweet! Your boys are so handsome! I was a week over due with Madi and it was miserable, so I'm shoveling a lot of snow and trying to make myself go into labor. I'll keep you posted. Thanks for being so sweet.
