WOW- Where Did December Go
I can't believe Christmas is already over. Cade had so much fun opening presents and seeing all 10 of his grandparents. We were busy traveling all week but it was well worth all of the driving. Our Christmas fun began Christmas Eve morning as we traveled to see Clint's Grandparents. They live
in Logan so we don't get to see them as often as we would like. We spent the morning eating breakfast and watching Cade ride Great Grandpa's horse. He loves to sing this song about riding a horse as the grand kids sit on his lap. Then we went to my parents house for dinner and present opening. My Mom's favorite holiday is Christmas. She spends months preparing for Christmas Eve. She gave each of us the
perfect gifts and I ate way to many treats! I can't resist fudge, sugar cookies and cherry chocolates. The kids had a great time opening presents and singing Christmas Carols. After the party we hurried home to put Cade in bed so that Santa could come to our house. Cade asked for a truck and Santa delivered. Christmas morning I heard, "Mom Santa brought me a truck." Cade was in the living room before we were awake and had already seen his truck. He was so excited about his truck that we couldn't get him to open any more presents. After we opened our presents we went to my Mom's for Christmas breakfast. We had waffles
, ham, eggs and fudge. (Only at Christmas can you have desert after breakfast.) Then we were off to Logan to see Clint's other grandparents. We had a yummy lunch and spent most of the day with them. Then we were off to another party with more yummy food. Clint's Mom made a seafood dinner with shrimp and seafood chowder. Cade loved dinner and ate about 10 shrimp. With all of these parties and good food I have made a new years resolution to lose the 15 pounds I gained over the holiday. Friday we got to ce
lebrate some more as we traveled to Kanosh to see Clint's Dad. We had more yummy food and opened more presents. We spent the night at their house and went snowmobiling the next morning. It was the perfect day for snowmobiling, sunny and warm. We are so blessed to have great families. Thank you everyone for such a perfect holiday.
